Gossamer Gear Solo Tarp Gossamer Gear Solo Tarp is one of the lightest single-person shelters in the world. Its pocket-sized packed dimensions are incredibly small, significantly smaller than most dyneema tarps. The Solo Tarp features a catenary-cut ridgeline, allowing for a taut, sag-free pitch. Its A-frame design provides excellent protection from the elements, shielding the sleeper from the sides and ends. One end of the tarp is slightly wider, offering room to sit under cover during rain. The edges remain at the same height, but the foot-end is slightly tapered, reducing weight and improving wind resistance. This tapered design maximizes space-to-weight ratio and enhances protection in poor weather conditions. The factory-sealed seams ensure the tarp is ready for use straight out of the bag.
